When I was in my last year at Prep School I was obsessed with The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy books by Douglas Adams. In it, a character called Zaphod Beeblebrox is sentenced to be put into the Total Perspective Vortex. The device compares you with the enormity of the Universe. This makes you feel so small and insignificant that your mind is utterly destroyed.
I have posted two videos below which have a similar effect on me as the Total Perspective Vortex.

- What is the difference between a moon, a planet and a star?
- How long does it take the moon to travel around Earth once?
- How long does it take Earth to travel around the sun once?
- Why do we have different seasons?
- When will be the next time that February does not have a full moon?
